Privacy Policy
Effective July 1, 2026
This explains what lashon collects and why. We keep it to the minimum needed to run Reword.
What we collect
- Account details — your name and email address.
- Subscription status — your plan and whether it's active. Your payment card is handled entirely by Paddle; we never see or store card details.
- Text you rework — when you use Reword, the word or phrase you select (with nearby context) is sent to our servers and to our AI provider to generate suggestions.
- Usage & error logs — to keep Reword working and fix problems on your device, we collect technical diagnostic logs from the app — for example error messages, whether parts of the app started correctly, and your app version — so we can help you when you report an issue. These logs are about how the app runs, separate from the text you rework (see below).
How we use it
To provide Reword and its suggestions, manage your subscription, support you, and improve the quality and reliability of the tool.
AI processing
The text you submit is sent to our AI provider to generate your suggestions. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.
Helping improve Reword
You can choose to share samples of your use so we can make Reword better — the word you queried and the surrounding text. This is optional and off unless you turn it on, and you can switch it on or off anytime in Reword's Settings. Reword works fully either way.
If you turn it on:
- A member of our team may review some samples to judge and improve suggestion quality.
- We keep anonymous quality signals — which suggestions were offered, which you picked, and the model used — to track how Reword improves over time.
- The raw text you shared (your selected words and the surrounding paragraph) is deleted within 12 months.
- We don't share this text with anyone outside the providers that run lashon.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that operate lashon on our behalf — our cloud hosting & database provider, our AI provider, and Paddle, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. We do not sell your data.
Keeping & deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to access or delete your data at any time — just email support@lashonapp.com.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No online service can be 100% secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
Children
Reword is a professional writing tool and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy; when we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
