Effective July 1, 2026

These Terms govern your use of lashon and its writing tool, Reword. By creating an account or using Reword, you agree to them.

What lashon is

lashon builds AI writing tools for Loshon Hakodesh. Reword is an add-in for Microsoft Word (Windows) that suggests sharper, more fitting alternatives for a word you select. Suggestions are generated by AI — they are yours to accept or reject, and you always choose whether to use them.

Your account

You need an account to use Reword. Give accurate information, keep your password secure, and you're responsible for activity under your account.

Subscription, free trial & billing

Reword is $19.99 per month. New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial that requires a payment method. You are not charged during the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged $19.99 and then monthly until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.

Refunds

The 7-day free trial lets you evaluate Reword before you pay. After the trial, monthly payments are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges. See our Refunds page. Paddle may grant refunds where required by law.

Acceptable use

Use Reword for your own writing and editing. Don't misuse the service, resell or redistribute it, attempt to reverse-engineer it, overload it, or use it for anything unlawful.

AI suggestions

Reword's suggestions are produced by AI and are provided "as is." They may be imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing any suggestion before using it — especially for Loshon Hakodesh. lashon is not responsible for content you choose to publish.

Your content

You keep all rights to your own text. To generate suggestions, we process the words you submit. You can also choose to share samples of your use to help us improve Reword — this is optional and controlled in Reword's Settings. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep it.

Changes & availability

We may improve, change, or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Disclaimer & liability

Reword is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, lashon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim.

Termination

You can cancel anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator of lashon is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
